The Weather Project

The Weather Project is a project that uses live data from a weather station located in Kyperounda village in Cyprus. The station provides data about temperature, humidity (dew point), wind speed and wind direction. The data is then sent live to the computer located in the gallery space. The data is algorithmically merged and then transformed into visual forms that are projected into the gallery space. The slightest change in the weather conditions results in a complete change in the projected forms. The forms are almost impossible to be repeated. The project was exhibited in The FOREST Exhibition [25.02.2022-12.03.2022] at NeMe Art Center, Limassol, Cyprus, organized by the Arboreal Collective and the Lab for Animation Research [LAR] of the Cyprus University of Technology.

The Project was also exhibited at the The LAR Chronicles Radical Domains of Anima Exhibition [18.01.2023-21.01.2023] of the the Lab for Animation Research [LAR] at NeMe Art at NeMe Art Center, Limassol, Cyprus.
